Internationalising teaching and learning

This cross-institutional project allows us to build professional capacity across four universities on internationalisation of the curriculum (IoC). It adopted a community of practice approach.

Professional development at a meso-level: Conceptual development and impact analysis

This research project examined four cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary professional development project and distilled their processes and impact. 

Examining and redesigning assessment tasks challenged by generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to uphold academic integrity and support learning

We will use a socio-technical theoretical lens to examine and redesign assessment tasks that can facilitate students’ responsible interactions with GenAI to uphold academic integrity and support learning. A design-based approach will be adopted to test the redesigned assessments and evaluate their effectiveness. 

Online Class

Engaging faculty in internationalisation of the curriculum in the post-pandemic era

This project aims to support faculty members' capacity in internationalisation of the curriculum in the post-pandemic era. We adopted a critical review approach to identify and synthesise existing approaches. This project is funded by Higher Education Research & Development Society of Australasia.

Investigating and enhancing undergraduate research experiences in the curriculum through teacher-student collaborative inquiries

This research project examined undergraduate research experiences in four research-based curricula situated two research-intensive universities in Hong Kong. We have generated journal publications, seminars, and guidelines for undergraduate research from this project.
